Maki Kurata Acupuncture
Erie and Edinboro, Pennsylvania

Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of healing in the world, dating back more than 2,000 years to China. Currently in the United States, Americans make about 10 million visits to acupuncturists every year for a wide variety of ailments. These include conditions labeled as: digestive, emotional, eye-ear-nose-throat, gynecological, musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, addiction control, athletic performance, blood pressure, regulation, chronic fatigue, and others. Maki Kurata is an acupuncturist licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was born in Mie Prefecture, Japan, and speaks native Japanese, as well as fluent English. Maki received her Diploma and Master's Degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture, Watertown, MA, and has several certificates and diplomas in her specialty of Japanese acupuncture. She also uses traditional Chinese methods, and incorporates many modalities into her treatments. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call one of her two locations:
